what you are preparing to witness is grassroots media at its finest hour. myka 9--an underground mc out of LA--put it this way: "[soon we'll be able to] inject music; snort music..." so abundant, crack just ain't good enough.

and i'm hoping the same will soon be true for truth and wisdom--rareties in an Amerikan klimate anti-konducive to such a koncept. ;-)

i'm not a fan of anarchy and lawlessness; disorder and chaos. nevertheless, i like revolution. and if blogging and youtube-ing are the way to get it, count me in.

this blog doesn't aim to be sensational in its storytelling--though i must forewarn you that truth can be stranger than fiction. it doesn't really regard your friendship or enmity, either.

i'm a documentary-filmmaker-wannabe, who desires to be socially relevant, politically engaged, and within the will of God. if you concur, fine. let me know. if you don't, that's fine, too. let me know.

i want to speak freedom in these writings, and incite rebellion in those who read them. hopefully enough rebellion that you want to write on here, too.

i don't remember how kim burrell put it, but i'll just say it like this: i'm not out to restore or reclaim anything; the devil can keep what he stole. i'm out for realization. it's time to reach for higher heights. newness is what i'm after. blazing trails and raising hell...for black people, for women, for children, for the poor, for the third world--for political prisoners, for Darfur, for "comfort women", for all human kind. :-)
